Farewell Burlesque

We are officially releasing our summer cocktail menu on Thursday, June 25. We’ve decided to keep some of our favorites around, but we have to say goodbye to a few others. One such casualty is the Burlesque, which first appeared on our 2014-2015 winter menu. We will always be able to make this cocktail, but tonight marks the last time that we will offer it as part of our half-priced Wednesday cocktail promotion. There will be a new crop of cocktails to try next week, but join us as we bid farewell to some old favorites.

 

Burlesque

2 oz. Rye
3/4 oz. lemon
1/2 oz. Benedictine
1/2 oz. honey
barspoon Absinthe
1 large egg white
neat line of cranberry bitters on top (post-strain)

Dry shake all ingredients except bitters, then shake with ice and strain into a chilled sour glass. Garnish with a line of cranberry bitters.
